There is no better feeling than watching your flowers and plants return each season, like an old friend, gone but not forgotten. Though my own yard may seem a hodge podge of plants at times, I am always trying new plants, new combinations. Each year we move, add and enjoy our perennial gardens.
       The initial cost can sometimes seem a bit prohibitive, but in the long run it is much less costly than planting annuals each spring.
